MRS. F. BRAKHANE DIES AT AGE OF 90 - Funeral Services Sunday Afternoon at Carpenter Church: Burial at Hamel - Mrs. Friederike Brakhane, of Carpenter, died yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home of her son, Fred Brakhane. Mrs. Brakhane had been ill but a short time.
She was born June 18, 1839 at Braunschweig, Germany, and at the time of her death had attained the age of 90 years. She was married to Fred Brakhane in 1860. Mrs. Brakhane is survived by one daughter, Mrs. John Schoeber, two sons, Henry of South Bellingham, Wash., and Fred of Carpenter, with whom she has made her home since the death of her husband fifty years ago. Eighteen grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren also survive. Three daughters preceded her in death several years ago.
Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 1 o'clock at the home of her son, Fred Brakhane, then to the Carpenter Lutheran Church. Rev. Hurtz will officiate and burial will be made at the Hamel Cemetery.
